BERLIN - The Hydrogen Economy is moving a step closer to reality:

Large-scale hydrogen production and feed into the natural gas grid; hydrogen reconversion to electricity; hydrogen storage in salt caverns, and, as cross-cutting theme, hydrogen as transportation fuel are the grand subjects of demonstration projects targeted by a new 14-member initiative, “Performing Energy - Alliance for Hydrogen from Wind.” It was launched here last month with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
