In Italy, Nuvera Fuel Cells, Inc., the Italian-U.S. developer of multi-fuel reforming and PEM fuel cell technology, plans to set up a hydrogen test facility in Osio Sopra, west of Bergamo on the main freeway to Milan. The company is partnering with two industrial gas companies in this project, RIVOIRA S.p.A, Milan, and the SIAD Group, Bergamo. Both gas companies are affiliated with U.S. industrial gas multinational Praxair. The new 180 sq. m. facility will test Nuvera’s hydrogen products in the 5.5-25 kW range.
