Briefly Noted: US FC Availability Survey

Earlier, the US Fuel Cell Council in its first-ever survey of what’s actually commercially available, said that more than 40 fuel cell products can be bought from manufacturers in the United States, Canada and Europe. The list ranges from 1 W systems by Medis and 100 W systems made by Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc. and Jadoo Power to 2,400 kW systems by FuelCell Energy. “This is an excellent inaugural list, and it proves that the hard work of our members and the public/private partnership are starting to pay dividends,” said Robert Rose, executive director of the U.S. Fuel Cell Council.
