Briefly Noted: South Carolina Tax Credits
South Carolina House Speaker Bobby Harrell has announced plans for legislation that would make available $15 million in state grants and tax credits for companies working with state research institutions to support hydrogen and fuel cell initiatives. The move comes less than a year after the formation of the South Carolina Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Alliance (SCHFCA), a non-profit corporation. The group says it will host the National Hydrogen Association’s (NHA) 2009 annual convention in Columbia, SC.
