Briefly Noted: U.S. Fuel Cell Council

The fifth edition of the U.S. Fuel Cell Council’s Media Guide is now available, featuring listings for more than 115 fuel cell developers and manufacturers and other supplier. Journalists can get free copies - CD or hard copy - by calling 202/293-550 or e-mail the council at germain@fuelcells.org. For others, there is a $20 charge. Earlier, the council published a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FACS) about the Ins and Outs on tax incentives for the purchase of fuel cells, part of the recent Energy Policy Act of 2005 (H&FCL Sept. 05). The document is downloadable as PDF at http://www.usfcc.com/resources/InvestmentTaxCredit_FAQs.pdf. Also, USFCC’s sister organization Fuel Cells 2000 last month published a searchable database of stationary fuel cell installations worldwide. The data base can be found at www.fuelcells.org/info/databasefront.html. The group welcomes additions, updates, technical data and photographs.
