The United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s International Centre for Hydrogen Energy Technologies, (UNIDO-ICHET) in Istanbul, Turkey, seeks to fill the following positions:

• Senior Researcher/Administrator. Major responsibilities are: develop and write proposals for hydrogen energy demonstration/pilot projects, training courses, workshops and meetings for funding; negotiate with funding agencies; work with demonstration/pilot project teams to shape the “case” to the requirements of the funding agencies; obtain funding and oversee the management of the projects. Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in science, and/or engineering and relevant experience with non-profit organizational, educational, academic settings; five years of experience writing successful grant proposals in hydrogen and/or renewable energy field. Excellent English required.
• Post Doctorals: Major Responsibilities: Work with senior scientists/engineers on hydrogen-related projects, and help write and/or prepare proposals, reports, papers, presentations. Qualifications: Recent Ph.D. degree on a topic related to hydrogen energy, including hydrogen production, storage, transmission, utilization, environmental impact and economics. Minimum language requirement: excellent English.
