Ballard Sells Automotive Assets to Daimler & Ford to Form New Auto Fuel Cell Company

VANCOUVER – Confirming speculation that apparently had been quietly circulating for some time, Ballard Power Systems last month announced it was selling almost all of its automotive fuel cell assets to both Germany’s Daimler AG and Detroit’s Ford Motor Co., to form a new private company, Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation.
