Giner Electrochemical Systems LLC (GES), a joint venture of Giner, Inc. and General Motors, has been awarded a $830,000 contract to develop a 250 W field ruggedized direct methanol fuel cell by the U.S. Army’s Communications Electronics Research Development & Engineering Center.
