GM Turns Over First Fuel Cell Truck To U.S. Army for Evaluation
HONEOYE FALLS, NY - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Brigadier General Roger A. Nadeau listen attentively to General Motors assistant staff engineer Gary Stottler explaining the inner workings of the first fuel cell-powered pickup truck delivered to the U.S. Army at ceremonies at GMs research facility here April 1. Clinton was instrumental in helping find the money for the project in the Defense Departments 2005 funding legislation. The army plans to test the truck through July 2006 at a base in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
